It is awesome that you have such a great relationship with your kid. I used to have the same thing, as my daughter is getting older she is starting to do her own things but she still makes time to hang out with dad and make some youtube videos traveling together, cherish it man, they grow up way to fast.

I like the occasional bike park trail, but they're too often too sanitized even when you move to red and black lines. Kids also need to learn how to go over chaotic roots, rocks, off camber mud, washed out ruts and tight, irregular turns. None of which need to be hard, you can find examples at numerous difficulty levels but bike parks usually just steamroll them into oblivion and replace them with jumps. PS general rule of thumb with picking wildflowers is "just don't", endangered or not. I've recently learned one species I've always known to be extremely abundant everywhere, is actually protected for some reason or other.
